‘Remarkable progress’ was made in Bible translation work last year, an annual survey by Wycliffe Bible Translators revealed.
The twelve months to September 2022 saw ‘the largest increase on record of languages where work has commenced,’ the report stated, ‘representing a new language programme starting for every day of the year.’ This represented a 13% increase on the previous twelve months.
