This is an eldership role, including oversight of youth and children’s ministries in the church and local community; regular opportunities to preach God’s Word; taking school assemblies; and exposure to all areas of church life to develop the character and skills necessary to be a lead pastor in a church in the future.
Candidates must be in full agreement with the FIEC basis of faith and ethos statements*; have at least two years experience of working for a church; have some theological training; have the support of their current church leadership; and have a right to work in the UK.
Starting January 2024 (Full-time, permanent, contract). Salary £28,700 to £32,700 depending on experience (plus pension and expenses). The option of renting a four bedroom, detached, house in Headley Park at a very favourable rate and also of undertaking further professional training.
