In August, the Evangelical Movement of Wales held its annual Aber Conference at Aberystwyth University.
Attendance at the conference was around 900, and we greatly enjoyed preaching and fellowship throughout the week.
David Meredith was the main speaker this year. He spoke on ‘Reviving Revivals’, challenging us about some of the flawed ways that we, the church, think about revival.
‘Hyper-nostalgia’ was one – being so wistful for past works of God that present needs and works are neglected or belittled.
