The Court of Appeal has heard the case of a Christian mother who was fired from her job for raising concerns about her son’s sex education materials.
A ruling on the case of Kirstie Higgs has not yet been handed down, but her supporters are praying for a decision which will protect free speech.
The case, which has rumbled on for several years, centres on comments made by Higgs on her personal Facebook account.
She raised concerns about the extreme sex education materials being used at her son’s primary school, but one person saw the comments and complained.
‘But I’ve been waiting five years for the courts to bring justice in my case. My posts reflect biblical, true, Christian teaching on gender and sexuality.
