Cinnamon Network

At a recent networking forum for Cinnamon Network, cabinet minister Nick Hurd MP declared his ‘vision’ for working with churches to promote social enterprise.
He spoke of a ‘crisis of trust’ in how people are looked after, especially young people, and said that both Government and churches are seeking to tackle huge and expensive social problems. He said the Government believes that social enterprise and investment provide the sustainable way forward.
The Cinnamon Network has just announced that church-based social enterprise projects can obtain cabinet office-funded grants.
