Despite the best efforts of the striking railwaymen to make things difficult, the Teddington Conference on Protestant History took place for the second year running last October. Numbers were lower than those for which we hoped, but some visitors travelled the length of the country to attend.
In the first talk, Revd Dominic Stockford led us through the life and times of Sir John Oldcastle, leaving us in no doubt as to the faith that drove him and its biblical foundation.
