I was born in the late 1980s in Shropshire into a loving Christian family. I was taken to church twice a week from almost the moment I was born.
Through the faithful teaching of both the church and my family I became a Christian at a very young age. I knew that I did things wrong and that Jesus had died for me. I wanted him to be king of my life.
When I was six we moved to St Albans, and during my childhood God continued to teach me more about himself, what his Son had done on the cross, and what the resurrection of Jesus meant.
I was introduced to the idea of missions very early. Each morning we faithfully prayed for missionaries during our family prayer time. I didn’t know it then, but God planted a seed that would get watered as I got older.
Baptised
As a young teenager I went through a stage that I think many children who become Christians at a young age go through. I started questioning everything. Did I really believe the gospel? Was it really my faith or that of my parents and siblings?
