About 400 people packed out a 300-seater venue in Glasgow to hear about the dangers of the Scottish government’s plans to criminalise ‘conversion practices’.
Extra seating had to be set out and still some people were standing wherever they could find a space at the event organised by the Let Us Pray campaign group.
The venue – Newton Mearns Baptist Church – was well stewarded and large enough to accommodate everyone safely. The numbers pouring through the doors underlined just how important this matter is to people.
Mike Judge, editor of Evangelical Times and pastor of Chorlton Evangelical Church, spoke about what ‘conversion’ really means in the Bible.
