The first two books, Little Pilgrim’s Big Journey and Christiana and the Celestial City, are super-condensed versions of Bunyan’s original Pilgrim’s Progress and Christiana allegories. They describe the children’s challenging journey to the Celestial City as they encounter friends and enemies and trust the King through dangers, toils, and snares.
