Abu Sulaiman, one of the Abu Sayyaf terrorists who masterminded the kidnapping of New Tribes Missionaries Martin and Gracia Burnham in 2001, is reported to have been killed by the Philippine army.
Martin and Gracia had been held by the terrorists for 12 months when Martin was killed and Gracia wounded in the final attempt by the Philippine army to release them. Their inspiring story is told in the book In the presence of my enemies, written by Gracia, and is available from New Tribes Mission (www.ntm.org.uk).
