Early in 2023, Wesley Brewer, Cumbria’s local representative for the Faith Mission, approached Silloth Evangelical Church in west Cumbria about a mission weekend.
We are an elderly membership and felt apprehensive, but we’re also passionate to see souls converted to Christ. In short, we agreed to the plan!
For three months in advance of the event in July, we engaged in prayer and more prayer. As it happened, the dates for the mission coincided with the 95th anniversary of the foundation of Silloth Evangelical Free Church.
