Friends and heroes

It’s not often that a Christian cartoon gets put onto stamps, but the Friends and heroes retelling of the Christmas story has been made into a set of stamps by the Isle of Man Post Office.

The Post Office has released a miniature sheet with three £1 stamps showing scenes from the Friends and heroes show. The stamps tell the Christmas story in simple images – the stable scene, announcement to the shepherds and arrival of the wise men.

Isle of Man Stamps is also releasing a first day cover, presentation pack and year book. Each of these contains a biblically accurate retelling of the Christmas story based on the images on the stamps (www.friendsandheroes.com).
