A controversial NHS transgender clinic for children is set to close following a highly critical independent review.
In addition, a lawyer says at least 1,000 clients could sue the clinic run by the Tavistock and Portman NHS foundation trust.
The independent review called for a full investigation into claims that vulnerable children were fast-tracked towards gender transition procedures.
It found children younger than 10 years old had been fast-tracked and put on the same drugs used to chemically castrate sexual offenders after only one consultation.
