Our beliefs are being policed, this is no time to keep quiet

It is good news that Dave McConnell has successfully overturned his conviction for ‘misgendering’ a member of the public. But it is outrageous the case went as far as it did in the first place. It is high time the police stopped trying to regulate Christian beliefs. Andrea Williams is surely right when she says it is difficult for Christians to see the police as impartial when they are flying LGBT flags on top of their buildings.
