Peace call
Palestinian Christian parliamentarian and academic Dr Bernard Sabella has called on Israel to respond to uprisings in the Middle East by offering a ‘vision for peace’ in the region and by working to resolve the 63-year-old issue of Palestinian refugees. Dr Sabella said there were more than 7 million Palestinian refugees scattered globally, and that it was impossible to resolve the Arab/Israeli conflict without resolving the refugee crisis.
