Petition from PTS

The Protestant Truth Society (PTS) has published an online petition to lobby the Government against the registration of civil partnerships on religious premises.
The PTS, worried by the possibility of deliberate targeting of Bible-believing churches as a result of recent debates in Parliament, has urged Christians to sign the e-petition.
It calls on Her Majesty’s Government not to pass any legislation that allows the registration of civil partnerships on religious premises.
Rev. R. Jeremy Brooks, director of ministry for the PTS, said, ‘It affirms the biblical teaching that marriage can only be between one man and one woman, and that any civil partnership registration has no place in any church building or on any other religious premises.
‘It calls upon HM Government to do everything in its power to support the uniqueness of traditional marriage’. To sign the petition, go to: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/13058
