Sent to Poland
Peter Slomski has been sent out from Grace Baptist Church in Halifax as a missionary to Poland, under the auspices of Grace Baptist Mission.
Mr Slomski said that, during his last visit to Poland, he eventually found an apartment to buy and gave thanks for the many who prayed that he might find the right place to live.
In his commissioning service, on 4 June, he said he found the task ahead quite daunting, and yet the Lord encouraged him. He said, ‘I was lifted up by the many Christian brothers and sisters who came, and the support of my church’. He appreciates readers’ prayers, as he commences work with Polish believers.
