The Archie Battersbee case needs careful consideration

By the time this edition of ET is published, the Archie Battersbee case will have concluded some weeks ago. But the life-and-death issues involved in the case will linger for some time. Archie, aged 12, suffered traumatic brain injuries after an incident at home in April, and doctors and his family battled in court over his continuing life-support treatment.
