The Christian Institute appoints new director, Ciaran Kelly, who pledges to uphold God’s truth

The new director of The Christian Institute, Ciarán Kelly, has pledged to uphold biblical faithfulness and speak up for what is good and right. 

Kelly, who first joined the Institute in 2014 after a career in UK financial services, stepped in as acting director late in March, after former director and founder Colin Hart died of a heart attack. 

In August, the trustees confirmed Kelly’s promotion permanently, after what the chairman called a ‘rigorous process’.

Richard Turnbull, the Institute’s chairman of trustees, said, ‘The Trustees were more than aware that this was a crucial moment in the history of the Institute.
