We who are registered to vote in the upcoming UK general election have a tremendous democratic privilege, and it is a precious thing. Take a moment to glance at recent international news and you will see what our fellow believers face in some other parts of the world for the sake of their faith: violence, imprisonment, and even death. Yes, it is increasingly difficult to live as a believer in the western world, but we are not yet facing the kind of persecution experienced elsewhere.
