A former pastoral worker in a Roman Catholic school has told an employment tribunal that she was sacked for expressing her religious beliefs about marriage.

Gozen Soydag, 37, from Enfield, is taking legal action against St Anne’s Catholic High School for Girls for wrongful dismissal.

She also claims to have suffered harassment, discrimination, and breaches of her human rights on the grounds of her beliefs.

Soydag has various social media accounts, including one on Instagram called @wifeinthewaiting.
