Last September, members of Greenstead Evangelical Free Church (Colchester), together with friends from churches far and near, gathered to join in the induction of Matt Palmer as pastor.
The church had been without a pastor since the retirement of Martin Peirce in February 2020. Many applications had been received, and three candidates emerged (at different times) for the church to consider seriously, but none of these proved to be the man of God’s choosing for Greenstead.
