Thousands of pro-life supporters from across the US took to the streets in Washington, DC, as part of the annual March for Life.
It has been 50 years since the US Supreme Court legalised abortion in America in 1973, but in June 2022, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and gave individual states the power to continue to carry out abortions or to ban them.
Covering almost two miles in the capital, pro-life supporters held signs such as the one pictured, with campaigners highlighting that the child that is aborted is paying the price for someone else’s mistake.
