The latest book by this prolific author is an appeal for us to understand and work out the Christian faith through the window of theology. In a church culture where management and strategy can increasingly dominate, McGrath makes a good case for theology to become once again the window through which we view the Christian life, the interpretive map by which we find meaning and understand God’s Word. He also brings in poets to elaborate his points, and it is good to see George Herbert used in this context, someone always worth reading.
