Here are 13 miracles of grace, which in time have led to so much good. It is a most apt title! This book commemorates 50 years of gospel and Christian witness, first started in Glasgow and then spreading to European, African and Asian countries.

I eagerly read the foreword written by Lord Mackay, a former Lord Chancellor. Surely his foreword is more than sufficient to attract thousands of readers. This is followed by James M. Campbell’s introduction.

I remember, years ago, reading of and seeing tragic pictures of orphan babies attached to beds in a comfortless ward, starkly showing the results of communism in Romania after the revolution. There was no love and little food, but, thankfully, that ended as a result of Christian intervention, reminding us that God does change situations by changing individuals.

Once I started reading these testimonies, I had to carry on. I found them gripping. I greatly rejoice that our powerful God has planted churches in atheistic countries and, indeed, all over the world. I remember the words of Luke 1:52, where ‘God puts down the mighty from their seats and exalts those of low degree’.

I urge readers to buy and read this book. If possible, do contribute money or goods to the support of such devoted Christians who are so gifted and hard-working.
